ABOUT PRAJNA SINGH
I am a consultant with experience in the field of social impact assessments, consultations and ESG due diligences. My academic background is in strategy and policy (with a focus on environmental policy and Indigenous People\'s rights)I have experience consulting with financial institutions and project proponents on social impact assessments and stakeholder consultations for large scale infrastructure and major capital projects. I have supported clients in developing their Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS), and quantifying their ESG performance. I am well-versed with impact measurement methods, and risk assessments, having worked on projects across Canada, South Asia and South East Asia, specifically India, Nepal, Indonesia, and Cambodia. I have also worked across a range of sectors including the energy sector - both renewable and nonrenewable, nuclear, oil and gas, mining, education, supply chain management, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, etc. I have experience working with multi-lateral, bilateral funding agencies and financial funds, and I’m conversant with IFC Performance Standards, WBG EHS Guidelines, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Overseas Private Investment Corporation (now DFC) and ADB guidelines and policies on environmental and social safeguards.
