Prajakta is the Head of Air Distribution (low-cost career airline content) platform at Amadeus India.Amadeus India is the second largest engineering site for Amadeus worldwide. Over 3600 engineers innovate on core products of Amadeus that provide the backbone for the travel industry players to manage their Distribution and IT Operations efficiently. Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) airlines make up around 30% of the world’s air travel. They provide the short-haul and last-mile air connectivity for travelers. Making the LCC content available for booking on Amadeus Travel Platform is Prajakta’s main responsibility. This enables the travel agencies and travel sellers to offer the best travel experiences to travelers.Before joining Amadeus, Prajakta has worked with several multinational organizations like Dell-EMC Technology, IBM, Persistent Systems and Sasken Technologies. During her 23+ years of enriching experience, Prajakta has led IBM Rational’s token licensing strategy and customer adoption, has driven the mission of seamless migration of petabytes of customer data to Dell-EMC PowerStore and has effortlessly led several talent transformations for high performance teams. She holds a Master’s degree in computer science from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India. In her free time, Prajakta likes to indulge in graphology (reading people by their handwriting) and likes to catch up on current affairs.
