About Pragya Singh

As a data-driven professional, I am equipped with data science skills to clean, organize and build data models for classification, regression, and clustering problems using supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms. I hold a B.TECH degree in Computer Science Engineering from Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, in the year 2019. During my academic tenure, I was a Merit Scholar and Engineering Scholar.My expertise lies in various programming languages like Python and SQL, and I am well-versed in various machine learning algorithms like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, K-Means, Time Series Forecasting, Multinomial regression, Decision Trees, SVM, Principal Component Analysis, Linear Discriminant Analysis, Clustering Algorithms, KNN, Ensemble methods, and Neural networks. I am also proficient in data visualization using Power BI and various tools and frameworks like Django, Git, MS Excel, and JIRA.In terms of professional experience, I am currently working as a Lead NE Engineer (Full-Time) at Globalsoft Infosystems (Client - Reliance Jio), Navi Mumbai, where I implemented Python code solutions to answer analytical questions and analyzed trends and patterns in large datasets. I have also worked as a Software Engineer (Full-Time) at Synergy Technology Services, Mumbai, where I participated in architecture, design, and implementation of back-end features using Python and compiled, cleaned, and manipulated data for proper handling. In terms of data science projects, I have worked on various projects, including Rating Predictions, Census Income, Netflix Recommendation System, Walmart Sales Forecasting, Customer Segmentation, Movie Collection Prediction, Predict knee osteoarthritis, and Diamond Price Prediction. These projects helped me gain experience in applying various machine learning algorithms to real-world problems.I hold several certifications, including a PGP in Data Science and Machine Learning from MITxMicroMasters and Intellipaat, Deep Learning certification from Internshala, and Statistics for Data Science certification from Internshala.I am passionate about data science and machine learning and am always looking to learn and grow. My goal is to continue building my skills and experience in this field while contributing to meaningful projects that have a positive impact on society.
