ABOUT PRAGYA SETH

I am a Principal Associate in the Corporate practice at SAMCo, with around 9 years of experience specialising in mergers & acquisitions and private equity. My practice focuses on advising domestic and international clients—including private equity funds, corporate groups, and multinational companies—on complex cross-border transactions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and business combinations. Over the years, I have been actively involved in several high-value transactions across sectors such as e-commerce, retail, technology, energy, manufacturing, and fintech. My deal experience spans strategic investments, control and minority acquisitions and full-cycle M&A support—from due diligence to execution. In addition to transactional work, I have advised clients on complex restructuring efforts, including both domestic and cross-border schemes of arrangement. I have assisted businesses in structuring their models to align with evolving exchange control laws in India or advising clients on businesses being FDI compliant. I have also had the opportunity to work closely with prominent institutional investors and strategic players on landmark transactions in the Indian market. My approach is deeply client-focused, commercially aligned, and solution-oriented—driven by a strong understanding of both legal nuances and business imperatives.
