About Pragnesh Mistry
I am a Licensing and Business Development Associate experienced in the three facets of technology transfer: 1) science, 2) business, and 3) law. As a former PhD scientist in immunology at the National Institutes of Health, I researched the pathogenesis of neutrophil subsets in autoimmune diseases and rare autoinflammatory disorders and have 10 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. As a legal expert, I have managed patent portfolios for cancer and cardiovascular disease technologies and drafted and negotiated transactional and collaborative legal agreements including Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs), Clinical Trial Agreements, and Research Collaboration Agreements. As a current Licensing and Business Development Associate for life science technologies at Skysong Innovations, I negotiate complex license agreements, assist faculty with startup formation, and play matchmaker in forming relationships with venture studios, investors, serial entrepreneurs, and ASU investigators.
