As a FloodNet Sensor Engineer at New York University, my role involves the design and deployment of advanced sensor technologies and systems aimed at monitoring and mitigating urban flooding. This position allows me to harness my deep-seated passion for leveraging my skills and knowledge to address real-world challenges. My expertise spans across robotics, hardware development, digital electronics, and mechatronics, enabling me to contribute effectively to projects that require a multifaceted technical approach.Before my current role, I co-founded a startup where I led the development of innovative agritech solutions, including an automated IoT-based indoor hydroponic farming system, an irrigation management system, and nutrient dosing equipment. This experience honed my ability to lead tech initiatives from concept to commercialization. My tenure at SmarterHomes Technologies as an R&D intern further enriched my portfolio, where I focused on water metering and conservation technologies. Here, I played a pivotal role in integrating a smart ultrasonic flow meter through the development of both a custom PCB and innovative software, in collaboration with hardware and software teams.I am driven by a commitment to enhance the sustainability and resilience of our communities and the broader environment. My aim is to contribute my technical expertise, creativity, and a unique blend of experiences to foster innovative solutions within collaborative team settings.
