Pradyumna is a Mumbai-based Sound Designer and Production Sound Mixer with over a decade of experience across music, advertising, theatre, film, and immersive media. Holding a master’s in Sound Design and Sound Recording from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, he has honed his craft through diverse projects ranging from intimate documentaries to large-scale productions. His credits include recording sound for the Academy Award–winning \'The Elephant Whisperers\' and numerous other linear and non-linear projects across India. Working with creatives nationwide and internationally has shaped Pradyumna’s structured yet curious approach—balancing exploration with precision to consistently deliver impactful sonic experiences.Technically proficient, Pradyumna brings a hands-on approach to every stage of post-production. His experience spans a wide range of environments—from high-end studios to agile, low-budget setups—where he has also contributed as a premix and final mix engineer. Beyond the studio, he enjoys experimenting with analog synthesizers, often weaving their textures into his sound design to create original palettes that push storytelling beyond convention. For Pradyumna, sound is never just a technical layer but a creative voice that drives narrative and emotional resonance.Collaboration lies at the core of his practice. Pradyumna thrives in team-driven settings, working closely with directors, editors, mixers, and fellow creatives to ensure seamless audio workflows and consistently high standards. Adaptable and resourceful, he takes pride in supporting projects of all scales—whether executing complex design tasks or assisting with studio operations.In recent years, Pradyumna has expanded his practice beyond film to explore how sound shapes interaction in everyday life. A collaboration with TVS Motors, where he designed 26 audio cues for their flagship EV, reinforced his belief that sound can enhance interaction, safety, and emotional resonance in emerging fields such as automotive and UX design.Pradyumna now seeks opportunities that challenge his creative thinking, sharpen his research, and allow him to contribute to global conversations around sound in more meaningful ways.
