ABOUT PRADYUMN TIWARI

I work at the intersection of robotics and AI — building systems that perceive, reason, and act in the physical world.Currently, I’m a Robotics Software Engineer at Omnivore Recycling in Aachen and a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen’s Institute of General Mechanics (IAM), where I benchmark machine-learning interatomic potentials (MLIPs) using PyTorch and GPU-accelerated molecular dynamics simulation.Before moving to Germany, I spent over two years at IIT Delhi designing and deploying Autonomous Mobile Robots for industrial material handling — from mechanical design and vehicle dynamics through to ROS2-based teleoperation, SLAM with GMapping/LIDAR, and PID motor control.My current focus areas are Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, computer vision for robotic manipulation, and sim-to-real transfer. I’ve recently worked with smolVLA in MuJoCo and Isaac Sim environments, training robot arms to execute natural-language commands through visual grounding.I’m passionate about embodied intelligence — giving robots the ability to understand and interact with unstructured environments — and I’m building my career in the DACH robotics ecosystem.Tech stack: Python, C++, PyTorch, ROS2, MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, Docker, SolidWorks, MATLAB/Simulink
