I am a computer scientist who performs data driven analysis and develop machine learning based estimation and inference algorithms for Computational Biology in the context of drug development. I have 21+ years of experience working at the intersection of Machine Learning and Computational Biology. I primarily apply my research to 1) Clinical epidemiological, predictive and prognostic models with respect to pharmacokinetics, efficacy and safety endpoints and trajectories, 2) disease models. disease progression models, and pharmacodynamics models for drugs, including immunophenotyping and regulatory genomics analyses (identifying transcriptional, post-transcriptional, and translational regulatory processes of interest), and 3) to investigating Preclinical and Translational + Reverse Translational aspects of drug and drug target discovery + drug development including comparative genomics analyses (comparing genotype and phenotype data across model species disease + treatment models with respect to human data).
