I have had extensive experience in business partnering Marketing, Customer Development and Supply Chain including Company Board and Global responsibility. This has been coupled with experience in Financial Accounting, Supply Chain Accounting, Treasury, Risk Management, Information Management and Accounting Expertise. The experiences have been built on a strong foundation of excellent academics as a merit holder from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (CIMA equivalent). My strength is core finance supported by business partnering skills as well as a record of leading and networking dispersed teams on complex projects with rapid delivery in a new area.My key contributions include Strategic Board Partnering as Finance Director, Unilever Gulf, CFO Akzo Nobel India and CFO Mindtree.This supported the business to competitive profitable growth in challenging external circumstances. Strong commitment to people has meant I have driven the learning and development agenda in a number of roles supporting the business and functional plans.I have also done a number of roles in the expertise area such as managing a large cash pool for value addition and Foreign exchange risk management in Treasury as well as led Risk Management of key Unilever geographies for Sarbanes Oxley compliance. As CFO at Pidilite, I was responsible for driving the deployment of the overall financial strategy to support operations and business goals globally.In my present role at Süd-Chemie India I lead the Finance, Accounts, Compliance and IT function and drive the profitable growth plans of the company.
