Defining the project plan and deliverable schedule Planning of resource requirements based on the project needs Estimation of hours requirement of product design tasks Team development initiatives like knowledge sharing Review of technical tasks and also involved in the concept development and finalization Act as an interface between the team and the stakeholders for weekly reviews of the project maintaining comprehensive schedule. Lead, develop, and manage a group of Mechanical CAD Engineers/Consultants performing drafting and documentation support for multiple products. Determine design intent, material selection, fabrication process and interact with design engineers and provide resolutions to eliminate errors. Assign & manage work responsibilities to individual engineers and ensures on time & high-quality delivery. Ensure all drawings produced in compliance with global standards and engineering practices. Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to drafting standards and schedules Accountable for quarterly engineering excellence and team metrics. Perform methodical root cause analysis, identify & implement corrective actions to resolve PR issues/non-compliance in drawing deliverables.
