A Open Source engineer, contributor and community member with long experience in building and running distributed teams and communities from scratch. Exceptional at hiring and retaining the best engineering talent with given constraints. I love working with a team of people and driving the team towards a shared vision. Founded the KDE India Community and served as as one of the Board of Directors on KDE e.V. Over the years, as an engineer, I have built Desktop, Mobile and Web applications. I have built developer tool and release engineering automation tools and complex CI/CD pipelines. Used to dabble in C/C++, Qt, KDE, Ruby, Python, Chef and more. Led efforts to build developer tools on top of Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift. At Red Hat, my leadership focuses on pioneering a robust data platform, ensuring it is reliable, secure, and compliant. This platform is the future backbone for AI and data product teams, crucial for developing business-critical applications. I am very passionate about building and nurturing teams and talent. I take pride in the teams I have built and worked with who have created solutions to complex problems. Also extremely passionate about mentoring and coaching. I have spoken at conferences and universities in India and many countries around the world.
