DTUP- London- Siemens Mobility- Create the step-by-step documents of electrical and mechanical instructions to fix the bracket, the cable duct, and electrical and electronic equipment into the car- Validated the schematic documents to identify the connection from origin and destination of equipment- Verify the harness routing path and mention the connector’s location in the instruction document- Specify the location IDs of electrical connectors and terminal lug fittings in the documents to ease assembly by the assembly line team- Mention the tightening torque values wherever brackets, equipment, connector lugs, etc. are fixed to the car- Make sure to add edge protection to the sharp surface of the bracket to avoid direct contact with cables- Identify and provide instructions on how to add the braided hoses wherever cables are touching the cable gland sharp exit area- Make sure that witnesses mark fasteners after they are tightened.
