Current role at Abbott Healthcare is to develop for skin care (Cosmetics & Pharmaceuticals) products covering wide range of portfolio- Project costing, Development costing, Stakeholder management, Formulation Development, Technology transfer, Selling point of product. My role at Aurobindo Pharma & Zydus is to develop Topical (Semisolid) Generic Dermatological Products for US Market- Formulation Development of Semisolid Dosage Forms (Creams, Lotions, Gels, Ointments, Solutions) for US Market- Experience of complete Derma/Semisolid Lab set-up (Equipment procurement, Quality System establishment)- Characterisation of Developed Formulations (Rheology, Viscosity, Particle Size, In-Vitro Release Testing (IVRT) of developed dosage forms)- Implementation of QbD, Design of Experimentation (Design Expert, JMP)- Addressing deficiencies/Queries received from regulatory authorities- Also involved in Preformulation & Formulation development of NCE\'s for dermal route & 505 (b)(2) projects. Idea generation for new projects, identification of new projects- Well versed with different aspects of Regulatory requirements (USFDA). My interest is to work on conventional & new formulation strategies in Topical & Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems, Personal care Products (Nanotechnology based formulations for effective skin delivery).
