Responsibilities(Hot Rolling Mill) WRM-working as an Assistant shift incharge (Operation Department)1)Rolling S.S plain size5.5,6,6.5,7,7.5,8,8.5,9,9.5,10,10.5,11,11.5,12,12.513,13.5mm through Block mill.2)14,14.5,15,16,16.5,17,18,19,20,20.5,21,21.5, 22,22.5,24,24.5,25,26,26.5,28,28.5,29.5,30,31, 31.5 upto 39.5mm through Garret Line.3)Rolling SS HEX size 14,17.5,20.5,23,23.5,26.5, 28,31and 33mm4)Rolling SS Square 11,14,17,21,23.5,24,27,5)Rolling SS Various Grades 201,202,204,303,304,309,310,316,410,420 and 430.6)Rolling of some SS critical Grades like309,303GR,416,308,314,439 and some high Sulphur Grade7) Rolling Duplex Gradelike 1.4362, 1.4016, 1.41048) Rolling with maximum mill speed 58.5m/s through block mill for size 5.5mm.9)To prepare planning of Section change with all Departments.10)Responsible for entire shift activities, planning, production and quality of end product.11)To communicate with Mechanical team, Electrical team and Roll shop team in order to minimize breakdown.12)Keeping a track of rolling parameter like temperature, Mill speed, tension & surface quality of end products & Distribute responsibilities to subordinates accordingly.13)Generate daily production report on SAP, Delay Report and analysis of respective breakdown is undertaken and plan corrective & preventive steps for improvement.14)Responsible for product good quality and maintaining of safe working environment15)Responsible to 5S, overall safety & housekeeping.16)Making sure that products are produce on time and are of good quality.17)Manpower handling.
