About Prachi Rege
As a journalist for seven years, I specialised in writing articles on education which revolved around topics such as —dealing with career prospects in various industries, how to choose a university (home and abroad), what kind of career is suitable for you etc. During this time and particulary in my stint with the India Today Group I also developed the art of writing human interest, lifestyle and entertainment stories. My job also included the task of editing articles both for the print and online channels. After seven years in the print media I decided to switch the field and opted to work in Public Relations. At present as a part of the Specialty Services division at Edelman India Pvt Ltd, I develop content for brands and clients. Scope of work includes drafting authored articles, op-ed pieces, blogs, speeches, and press releases on behalf of CEOs and Business Heads. The Tata group of companies, Hindustan Unilever Limited, KPMG, Shell, World Vision India, Fortum, JSW Group, Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), are a few brands that I work with at Edelman.
