ABOUT PRACHI JAIN

I’m an actuarial professional with over 4 years of experience in the life insurance industry, with a strong foundation in mathematics and data-driven problem-solving. My journey began with a B.Sc.(Hons.) in Mathematics from the University of Delhi (Top 5% of my class), and I’ve since qualified in key actuarial exams including P, FM, FAM, SRM, STAM, and all three VEE components (VEEACCTFIN, and VEEMATHSTATS). I\'ve held impactful roles such as- Senior Manager at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, leading Group Pricing and reinsurance strategies- Actuarial Analyst at WNS Global Services, working on US statutory valuation for variable annuities. Some of the tools and platforms I regularly use include GGY AXIS, SQL, Python, and Excel. A highlight of my career was leading the successful implementation of Renova, a project that streamlined reinsurance processes and improved efficiency. To complement my technical background, I recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from York University, Toronto, with a focus on business strategy and management. This has helped sharpen my skills in portfolio analysis, financial reporting, and compliance. I’m passionate about solving complex problems and thrive in collaborative, innovation-focused environments.
