INSTRUMENTATION DESIGN AND ENGINEERING • Design engineering of Process measurement & control, Prepare design documents such as; Instrument Control and Design Philosophy, Basis for Design (BFD), Bid Engineering Work, Scope of Work for contractors, equipment technical specifications, purchase requisitions and technical bid evaluation; as per specified project Specifications, Codes and Standards in accordance with the provisions and guidelines of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) systems and the requirements of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). • Technical supervision, engineering & quality check for design documents/drawings such as; technical specifications, sizing calculations, cable routing, instrument location plan/layout, instrument hook-up, installation details, wiring diagrams, I/O schedule, Instrument schedule, loop drawings, material take off (MTO) and field instrumentation datasheets such as; control valves, shutdown valves, transmitters and various types of gauges. • Preparation / Review of Datasheets for field Instruments & Package Instrumentation (Including Mechanical Packages) • Review/prepare design calculations/sizing of Instruments like Control Valves, Orifice plates. • Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) for the Field instruments • Analyze Engineering Drawings e.g: Instrument and JB location layout, cable block diagrams, JB termination drawings, Loop drawings and Hook UP drawings including BOQ. • Wiring and Loop Drawing Expert ( SPI IN tools). • Known and familiar with ISA, IEC, API, ISO and Shell DEP Specifications.
