My journey into software development began with a fascination for how digital systems work, and the desire to build tools that make life easier. That curiosity eventually led me to code, and for the past 2+ years, I’ve been turning ideas into real, working products that people use every day. Right now, I’m building and maintaining a modern practice management platform at Save Minds Ltd in London. It’s used by clinicians and admin teams to make their work more efficient, and I get to shape everything from the user interface to the backend architecture. Working with React, Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and AWS, so far I’ve improved performance, cut API response times by 30%, and helped ensure the platform stays fast, secure, and reliable. Before that, I was at IO Technology Consulting LLC, where I built scalable, cloud-native apps that boosted user engagement by 20% and made things feel noticeably faster, cutting load times by 40%. One of the best parts of that role was mentoring junior developers and sharing what I’d learned. It reminded me how much I enjoy working in teams where everyone grows together. At Tutopiya, a global e-learning platform, I took ownership of several critical features, including building a custom math equation editor from scratch. Tutopiya needed a tool for tutors to write complex math equations inside quizzes, something clean, easy to use, and powerful. I researched libraries, experimented, and ended up building a fully functional math editor using React-Mathlive, KaTeX, and React-Quill. Over qualified tutors are using it everyday to create quizzes and exams. The CTO personally commended the feature’s value and usability, a moment that deeply validated my approach to problem-solving and user-focused development. Along the way, I’ve also focused on scalability and efficiency. I spearheaded the development of over 20 responsive web pages and 30 reusable components, which reduced overall development time by 25% and made future feature rollouts smoother and faster. I care about writing clean, maintainable code. I love small UI details that make a big difference. And I get excited about solving tricky problems and learning something new along the way.
