About Prabath B
I am a passionate and dedicated psychologist with a strong academic foundation and a lifelong interest in understanding human behavior. My journey in psychology began at the age of 14 and has since evolved into a focused career grounded in both academic excellence and practical experience. I hold a BA in Psychology, English, and Economics from Bangalore University (2021) and an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Jain University (2023). I have also completed two postgraduate diplomas in Psychotherapy and Counselling Skills from Banjara Academy, Bangalore. Currently, I am expanding my interdisciplinary perspective through an MA in Philosophy from IGNOU. My professional experience spans clinical settings, research, community work, and applied sports psychology. I’ve interned at leading institutions such as NIMHANS (as a training facilitator in the psychiatry department) and BMC Victoria Hospital, and I’ve conducted cognitive engagement sessions for the elderly. In 2022, I worked as a fundraiser with Muskurate Foundation, contributing to mental health awareness and outreach. In 2023, I served as a Sports Psychologist at Simple Sport Foundation, helping athletes enhance performance and mental resilience. Most recently, I worked as a Field Investigator and Researcher at NIMHANS (2024–2025), gaining hands-on experience in psychological research and data collection. My mission is to integrate clinical knowledge, therapeutic skills, and philosophical insight to support mental well-being across diverse populations. I am particularly interested in therapy, research, cognitive health, and holistic psychological care.
