As a Principal R&D Engineer at Diamond Foundry, I pioneer chemical mechanical planarization to smooth diamond, harnessing its unmatched thermal conductivity to address heat challenges in power electronics, AI GPUs, and data centers. Collaborating with growth, bonding, automation, and software teams, I drive a groundbreaking materials revolution to integrate diamond into every chip.During my postdoctoral work in Michael Sailor’s lab at UC San Diego, I leveraged porous silicon to enhance enzymatic hydrolysis, blending materials science with biotechnology. Leading nanoparticle analysis and partnering with industry, I tackled challenges in degrading toxic substances.At Entegris, as a Scientist, I accelerated slurry processing for chemical mechanical planarization of ultra-hard materials like silicon carbide and diamond. By mentoring technicians and clarifying material interactions, I optimized processes and fostered team growth.With a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s in Materials Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, India, my mission is to push research boundaries for transformative real-world applications.
