ABOUT PETE MENDENHALL

Pete has worked as an Originator, Director, National Director and Vice President at a Top 5 Mortgage broker while converting to top 5 Mortgage Bank. A Federal Savings Bank funding over 3 billion yearly in Direct to Consumer from Centralized Contact Center growing the HECM channel from nothing to top 15 in the country with only 5 Loan officers. Another Federal Bank with a De-Centralized Direct to Consumer model top 10 in the country. A top 4 Investor/Lender in the HECM space. A long-tenured regional Mortgage Bank expanding into a national footprint. He has proven experience building, integrating and improving Lending Platforms\' into existing Mortgage operations or new out of the ground to add value to current business strategy. In these past capacities, he has successfully dealt with, improved and integrated into: Operational workflow and processes. Internal and External Partners: Marketing, Operational ( processors, underwriters, closers, funders and the like). Sales- wholesale, retail and inside lead provided originators. Evaluating internal and external marketing efforts and lead sources- live event, direct mail, web, tv, social media, existing customer, and portfolio. He has also gotten trackable results from educating, training, and coaching internal and external sales teams. Improving relationships by identifying the true customer in Marketing, Sales, and Operations. Discovered, Designed and Deployed- unique selling propositions, workflows, service level agreements, procedures, and policies. Started and Owned other Business - Designed and built 12 Restaurants, 2 software companies, Property Management, Consulting, Bought notes, owned 75 rental properties in KS and MO, Training & Education along with a Radio Show about Real Estate Investing.All this gives me a unique perspective since I can evaluate spending as an owner and still use that entrepreneur spirit to transform, enhance or build Succesful business units.
