Progressive leadership roles in the managed healthcare space have equipped me to impact the business and technical aspects of provider relations, network management, provider contracting and member experience. Few industry colleagues offer broader or more in-depth experience in provider operations and member engagement across the Medicaid/Medicare/DNSP and commercial healthcare market segments. An early career assignment with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield involved filling network provider gaps, training contracted providers on supported commercial products and managing various aspects of provider operations and issue resolution related to credentialing, claims and system configuration. With a following move to Centene, my scope of work expanded to implementing provider relations departments in new markets and system configuration, provider onboarding and process improvement initiatives that delivered major efficiency and cost improvements—and transformed how business was done. I’ve since held operational, technical and oversignt roles at SSM Health and United Healthcare that impacted operations, provider contracting, marketing and member engagement and resulted in measurable improvements in business retention, provider/member experience and financial sustainability.
