ABOUT POUYA SOURI
I am a J.D. candidate at Boston University School of Law with a strong interest in litigation and legal strategy. Before law school, I worked in national politics with Common Power, where I helped build partnerships with state parties and candidates, conducted election and policy research, ensured campaign finance compliance, and contributed to fund raising to support civic engagement efforts.As an immigrant from Iran, I am deeply motivated by the rule of law and the institutions that sustain democratic governance. My undergraduate honors thesis examined democratic backsliding and the rise of voter suppression laws in the aftermath of the 2020 election, further sharpening my interest in constitutional structure and institutional accountability.I am particularly drawn to high-level litigation and challenging, high-stakes matters that require precision, strategic thinking, and sound judgment.
