ABOUT ALI POURSHAHID

I am the Chief Product Officer at Solace, where I lead product strategy and engineering execution across our portfolio of real-time data, event-driven integration, cloud services, and Agentic AI solutions. I\'m privileged to work alongside an incredibly talented group of engineers, architects, Product Managers, and User Experience designers. Since joining Solace, I\'ve played a pivotal role in the development of the Cloud Platform, Event Portal, Insights, and most recently Solace Agent Mesh — our platform for event-driven agent orchestration in the enterprise AI space. Throughout my time at Solace, I\'ve been at the forefront of evolving our engineering methods, processes, and technological direction, and product strategy.Before joining Solace, I honed my skills at IBM and Klipfolio, where I built engineering teams and launched several enterprise and Cloud-native SaaS products. I have a passion for system design, product strategy, team-building, and ensuring both developer and user have outstanding experiences. Building agile, product-led teams has always been at the core of my professional approach and now I am focused on building AI-native teams.My academic journey culminated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa. There, I delved deep into researching and developing methods for automated process improvements. My work has resulted in several widely cited publications and patents. During my time at IBM, I was honoured with the recognition of Master Inventor.
