Electrical Design and Analysis: Leading the design and analysis of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems. Develop detailed drawings, schematics, design reports, and specifications. Review the design drawings, and prepare the modified markups for draft teams. • Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborating with teams to plan and execute electrical design projects. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration within overall project designs. Review and approve change orders, cost breakdowns, and progress reports in line with project progress. • Compliance and Standards: Ensuring all tender documents comply with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and standards. Stay updated on current electrical codes and best practices to ensure designs meet safety, efficiency, and sustainability requirements. • Technical Documentation: Preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including equipment schedules, load calculations, panel schedules, and coordination drawings. Review the shop drawings and submittals, respond to the contractors’ RFI, and issue the electrical site instructions. • System Testing and Commissioning: Participating in system testing and commissioning activities to verify proper installation and asses the functional performance of electrical systems. Collaborate with the commissioning team to address any issues or deficiencies identified. • Design Optimization and Value Engineering: Identifying opportunities for design optimization and value engineering to improve system performance, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Propose alternative solutions and evaluate their feasibility and impact. Project Documentation and Reporting: Preparing project reports, progress updates, and documentation for client review. Maintain accurate records of design changes, revisions, and project correspondence. Conduct field review reports.
