ABOUT KÉ ZHANG

Latest newsOur senses are connected; in the same way we associate prickly sounds to spiky shapes, we can visualize people’s vibes accurately enough to differentiate one person from another. My research formalizes these shared cross-modal perception signals to visualize human personalities on canvas. Preserving traditional craftsmanship and processes, my studio is a human blend of software, cognitive sciences, and fine arts- General summaryTechnical program manager, engineer, and artist particularly interested in software at the intersection of perception, identity, and visual arts.My corporate era specialty was to continuously bridge the gap between new technologies, robust engineering practices, cross-team dandori, and broader business goals. Accepting temptations to return to corp life, but be aware I will show signs of resistance at least until 2027- Street credKé is a software engineer & technical program manager turned full-time creative, with a tech background in machine learning, graphics, and computer vision that they have built a career with at companies like Autodesk and Microsoft. On the arts side, Ké is a classical pianist under 15 years of tutelage from Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory alum E. Dyachkov, as well as a published researcher as part of the Distributed Digital Music Archives and Libraries\' effort to digitalize a collection of medieval square-notation sheet music through machine-led optical music recognition. However, Ké\'s heart has always been with visual arts, from ink on paper to paint on canvas, check out Ké’s doodles and web comics on socials @potassiumsmith and follow along for the official launch of Ké’s not-so-secret research & fine arts studio
