Through these combined experiences I have gained fundamental analytic skills as well as broad insight into the history of economic thought and the impact of economic ideas on human welfare.Past research and publication topics have focused on labor and wage markets, state-level fiscal policy, and natural resources and energy markets. In my master\'s thesis,\"Employment Effects of Prevailing Wage Laws,\" I estimate causal effects of prevailing wage laws on employment in the construction industry.
