About Porter Schmidt
I have worked in the food service industry for eight years in a variety of roles in restaurants, from support roles as a host and busser to a server and manager on the floor. I am now the assistant general manager for my restaurant. I have also worked on political campaigns, one non-partisan race in Seattle in an administrative role and as a door-knocker for a primary campaign in Colorado. In these past experiences and my current management role I have felt called by our Lord to positions of leadership wherever I am placed. I have developed strong leadership, communication, and sales skills as a result and I am most comfortable professionally when dealing with other persons on a regular basis. I seek to serve and glorify the Lord in all that I do professionally and look forward to where He wills to take me in my career.
