ABOUT PORTER HARRIS
I’m a marketing student at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business (Class of 2026) with a strong interest in sports marketing, digital strategy, and data-driven storytelling. I’m especially interested in working with sports organizations, agencies, and brands that are looking to grow fan engagement through creative content and analytics.Through my experience with San Diego FC’s retail operations team, I’ve worked directly with fans in a high-energy matchday environment, helping deliver the in-stadium brand experience while observing real-time consumer behavior and purchasing trends. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of how sports brands connect with their audiences beyond the field.I’m also the founder of Runz, an AI-powered basketball discovery app designed to help players find local courts, see who’s playing, and connect with nearby basketball communities. Building this project has allowed me to explore product development, user experience strategy, and the use of AI-assisted tools to rapidly prototype and test new ideas.Across my academic and project work, I’ve developed a strong interest in marketing analytics, AI-driven insights, and consumer behavior, and how these tools can help sports organizations make smarter marketing decisions.I’m always looking to connect with professionals in sports marketing, digital agencies, and analytics-focused roles who are passionate about building stronger fan communities.
