I am incredibly grateful to Dharan Hospital for providing me with the opportunity to intern in the Histopathology and Microbiology laboratory. Histopathology:During my internship, I\'ve had the chance to learn various histopathology techniques, including biopsy and specimen collection. I\'ve been examining tissues under the microscope, using a microtome, learning embedding techniques, and analyzing diseases, primarily focusing on cancer tissues.🦠 Microbiology:In the microbiology lab, I\'ve been honing my skills in preparing culture media, performing streak plate methods, and examining microorganisms. I\'ve also been using the disc diffusion method with antibiotic discs to determine bacterial sensitivity or resistance and guide antibiotic treatment for patients. My work has included collecting samples such as pus, sputum, urine, stool, and CSF, as well as monitoring microbial load and ensuring sterility in the hospital environment.This hands-on experience has been invaluable, and I am thrilled to have gained such practical knowledge in both histopathology and Microbiology.
