About Poorva K.
An innovative, creative and passionate software engineer. I enjoy making use of technology for solving social, scientific and business related problems.I graduated with a Masters degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University in December 2020. After successfully completing my undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering from India, I have worked as a software developer at Avaya for a year. The work focused on developing full-stack features for a product using Java, REST APIs and React JS.I interned with Genesys in the summer of 2020. My work included porting a legacy API to a new service to automate scheduling of enabling or disabling feature toggles to incrementally enforce deprecation of authenticated end-points, utilizing serverless architecture, AWS, Django REST API framework.Outside of work, my hobbies include reading, hiking on nature trails and singing.
