My group charter spans Windows TCPIP/QUIC, Windows Network Security/VPN, Hybrid cloud SDN and eBPF for Windows:eBPF-for-Windows - Leading the effort for bringing the super-powers of eBPF to work on top of Windows. We are building the next generation of container networking stack based on eBPF and we love the security, innovation capability and agility eBPF brings and want to provide this value to our customers in a cross-platform way.Own SDN stack for the Hybrid Cloud: Windows Server/ Windows HCI/ Azure Stack which is part of Microsoft\'s Hybrid cloud strategy. The SDN stack is inspired from the Azure Public Cloud SDN microservices architecture and provides a host of functionality such as Virtual Networks, Micro segmentation based on Network security groups, Software Load balancer (L4) and Gateways providing site to site connectivity to customers on prem environment. and more. QUIC, TCP/IP, Network Security and VPN - Provide a secure, reliable, high-performance network stack for the Windows OS that scales from the smallest footprint devices to the Azure host scale servers. The team also owns VPN client connectivity for the Windows OS.Prior to this, as a dev I have shipped multiple releases of Windows.Built, shipped and maintained the on-prem SDN stack based on Azure with contributing to the overall architecture, defined the Northbound API surface, wrote the key pieces of the network controller for coordinating the underlying fabric.Designed and implemented RealTimeCommunications infrastructure for enabling Always On Always Connected scenario in Windows 8/8.1. This is the underpinning for push notification on the PC.Shipped DirectAccess and owned IPv6 transition technologies. Notably, worked on performance and scalability improvements of Teredo.Experienced in Distributed Systems, SDN, Microservice architecture, Windows OS services, Windows Kernel drivers, API design, WinRT Classes and using various IPC mechanisms such as COM and RPC.
