ABOUT POORIA PANAHI
Bilingual postgraduate structural engineer with over 7 years design experience in the UK consultancies in addition to 4 years successful experience in large international infrastructures where I worked for contractors as QS and CAD technician. I am a chartered member of ICE and continue to thrive becoming a well rounded engineer.I have developed a firm technical background in design and detailing the common materials e.g steel, concrete, timber and masonry using the most popular software such as TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, Master Series, AutoCAD. Within BIM environment, I produce detailed design and structural Revit model for more effective coordination. I also review and sign off manufacturers design prior to fabrication and transport. Another aspect of my role is to attend meetings, deal with site queries and managing teams.Over the course of my experience, I have been involved with projects across a wide range of sectors including residential development, refurbishment, retail, healthcare, industrial and historical.
