At Newmont, we pride ourselves on our strong technical capabilities in exploration, deep underground block caving, and metallurgical processing.Responsibilities:Proactive to identify and develop robust and thorough talentAdvise and develop sourcing strategies to support future talent requirementsAttend job briefs with Talent Acquisition Specialists; recommend and deliver a documented sourcing strategy and obtain hiring leaderProvide valuable market intelligence to the hiring managers and Utilise multiple communication channels to develop the talent pool and increase the active candidate pool providing consistent EVP and Values alignment placing high value on the candidateCollaborate with the onsite team to identify sourcing challenges, defining solutions and managing hiring leaderDiscuss and agree on the candidate shortlist, collaborating with the hiringWork to meeting diversity targets by identifying female talent or next best females for keyWork to increase diversity targets of other underrepresented groups, i.e. BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+, Demonstrate well-articulated communication style whilst presenting shortlists, both oral andCollate informationProvide insights to internal stakeholders, capturing the content of candidate and market trendsRecognise candidate shortage skills and advise the hiring community on best approach to mitigate risk. Engage in team development through learning and understanding best practice sourcing strategies to improve role deliverables.
