About Pooja Verma
I am an IIT BHU research scholar under Prof. Rajnesh Tyagi (IIT-BHU (Mechanical Engineering Dept.)) and Prof. Sunil Mohan (IIT-BHU (Metallurgical Engineering Dept.)). My Ph.D. thesis is entitled “Studies on mechanical and erosion-corrosion behaviour of dual phase steels” (Thesis writing). I have experience working in advanced labs in the mechanical & metallurgical dept. IIT (BHU), IIT Bombay, and NRLC- Lucknow for microstructural characterization & mechanical testing with emphasis on erosive wear, tensile, indentation, & fatigue. Furthermore, I have expertise in correlating microstructural characteristics with material responses.Aside from experiments, I have research experience in FEM tool ABAQUS for micro & bulk-scale mechanical testing with emphasis on Tension, Compression, Wear (dynamic analysis), etc. Furthermore, I have experience in implementing material constitutive models in the FEM tool Abaqus.I have had research papers published in prestigious journals. Aside from journal publications, I have presented my research at various international conferences.
