About Pooja Vaid
Translational cancer researcher with experience spanning academic oncology research and industry-scale genomics programs. My work has focused on understanding cancer biology in clinically relevant settings and enabling complex multi-omics studies that connect research questions with real-world clinical data.During my PhD and postdoctoral training, I worked on breast cancer tumor microenvironment research, coordinating multi-hospital cohorts and developing immune profiling and digital pathology approaches to study treatment response and disease aggressiveness.I currently work in an industry setting, supporting the execution and coordination of large-scale genomics projects and collaborating with bioinformaticians and laboratory groups to ensure scientifically aligned study planning and delivery. This experience has strengthened my interest in building translational pipelines that bridge clinical questions, experimental design, and data interpretation.
