I’m a filmmaker, professor, and creative producer working at the intersection of storytelling, pedagogy, and cultural curation. With over a decade of experience across scripted and unscripted media—including work for Netflix, MGM, Fox, Bravo, MTV — I bring a sensibility that merges narrative craft with formal experimentation.I currently teach in both the Graduate and Undergraduate programs at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where I design and lead courses in screenwriting, producing, and cinema studies. My teaching and mentorship prioritize authorship, vulnerability, and cultural consciousness.My creative work explores migration, myth, and feminine lineage. I\'m currently in production on Recipes from Home, an autoethnographic documentary that weaves food, memory, and ancestral ritual in the South Asian diaspora.Whether writing, curating, leading a lab, or designing curriculum, I’m drawn to work that blends rigor with risk—and builds new bridges between mainstream and experimental.
