I’m a backend engineer who enjoys building systems that stay fast, predictable, and easy to reason about — even at scale. Over the last 11+ years, I’ve worked across high-throughput pipelines, distributed services, and event-driven architectures, mostly in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.During my time at Walmart, I owned large backend systems that dealt with millions of events per day, real-time data aggregation, and workflows that had to be both correct and highly available. I’ve worked on:* High-volume Kafka ingestion pipelines tuned for throughput, concurrency, and predictable lag* Event-driven services processing tens of thousands of vendor updates with clean async orchestration* Low-latency APIs aggregating data from multiple services under strict response targets* Async workflows replacing slow synchronous operations in high-traffic environments* Large, business-critical backend flows that required stability, consistency, and careful designMy strength is taking messy backend logic and turning it into simple, resilient, observable systems. I care a lot about concurrency correctness, failure patterns, backpressure, performance tuning, and designing services that don’t surprise you in production.I work best when I have ownership — understanding the domain, shaping the architecture, improving reliability, and helping teams adopt good backend practices. I like systems that are well-designed, boring in a good way, and built to last.I’m currently open to backend roles where I can work on scalable pipelines, distributed systems, and high-impact backend architecture.
