   As a Quality Assurance Engineer with 3+ years of experience, I am responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of web-based applications through comprehensive testing techniques. My role involves understanding business requirements, analyzing user stories, and preparing detailed test scenarios and test cases. I perform various types of testing including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI, and black-box testing to validate end-to-end application workflows.I create and execute manual test cases, document defects using JIRA, and work closely with developers and business teams to ensure timely resolution. In addition to manual testing, I actively contribute to automation by designing and maintaining test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Core Java, TestNG, and Maven. I follow the Page Object Model (POM) framework to ensure script reusability and readability.My responsibilities also include API testing using Postman and RestAssured, where I test RESTful services for request/response validation, authentication, and data integrity. I regularly perform backend validation and database testing using SQL, writing complex queries to verify data accuracy and consistency across systems.I participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, providing test estimations and updates. I ensure traceability of requirements through proper documentation like test plans, RTMs, test reports, and defect logs.
