14 years of Experience contained PQC engineering, vehicle integration and product engineering in engine, fuel system integration, high pressure fuel system, low pressure fuel system, power train components like camshaft, valves, and engine brake system for Commercial Vehicles.Conducted design reviews with cross functional teams for new product and current product design modifications. Hand on experience in concept designs, RACI, C&E matrix, DFSS tools, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS and virtual build engine. Performed Tolerance stack-up analysis and relevant engineering calculations on the new or existing designs by dimension variation analysis (DVA).Customer interactions to resolve the design and field issues and provide design solutions.Supplier visits to discuss new product developments and provide the feasible design product.Worked with FEA engineers for part analysis communicating load conditions and providing alternate design solution to ensure component life.Worked with validation team to make and execute test plans for power train, power cylinder and fuel system components.Interactions with cross functional team like reliability, manufacturing, service, quality etc to communicate and resolve field failure, validation and plant issues. Created engine assembly instructions as per component assembly on each station for engine build in plant.Executed 4 DFSS project. Green belt certified.Sound knowledge of CAD & PLM tools like Creo, Pro-E (wildfire-5) & Team-center (PLM), Wind-chill. Good at Modelling, Detailing and Assembly in CAD tool.Experience in development of Technical Profile of Components.Sound knowledge of casting design, Sheet metal part design, piping. Good understanding of casting processes.
