ABOUT PON HARSHAVARDHANAN
As the Dean, School of Computing science engineering and Artificial Intelligence at VIT Bhopal University, I oversee the consultancy, research, curriculum development, and administration of the division, with a focus on advancing the field of AI, Data science and its applications. I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and consultancy in the areas of distributed systems, cloud computing, big data, and data science, with programming skills in Java, Python, R, and C.I am passionate about delivering high-quality education, research, and development, and fostering innovative technological advancements. I have a PhD in web services from Anna University, and I have completed multiple projects and publications in collaboration with research institutes and software development companies. I am also the Program Chair of the M.Tech Computational and Data Science program at VIT Bhopal, and I have proficiency in using tools such as Machine Learning Algorithms, AWS SageMaker, and Overleaf. My mission is to empower the next generation of data scientists and engineers with the knowledge, skills, and values that will enable them to solve real-world problems and create positive impact.
