Snowflake is the data cloud. My team created and delivered support for Snowflake to run on Azure in addition to the AWS cloud platform. Then, we adapted Snowflake to run on Google Cloud Platform as well. Then, we improved our storage and unstructured data support to meet data lake needs. Now, we\'re building native Apache Iceberg support into Snowflake tables. In addition, I designed and built support for third party S3-compatible storage such as Dell and Pure Storage within Snowflake. I also own security strategy and implementation for several parts of Snowflake, including cross-platform support for storage and storage COGS. What I really love to do is design and write code. I\'m lucky enough to spend most of my time doing exactly that while serving as area architect for the Snowflake\'s storage and data lake efforts.
