Hey! I’m the Founder and CEO of Heyquip, and I’m passionate about transforming the equipment rental scene into a smooth, digital experience. My journey started in the construction industry, where I saw firsthand how tough it can be for independent rental centers to keep up with all the inefficiencies and headaches. With nearly a decade of experience in construction project management, I’ve handled everything from budgeting and project planning to supervising job sites with large teams across dozens of condo developments. This hands-on experience really opened my eyes to the struggles rental centers face—think outdated systems, endless paperwork, and not enough online presence. I even co-founded Tooler, a marketplace for equipment rentals, but the market was not ready for such a solution at the time. This experience solidified my belief that there’s a better way. That’s why I started Heyquip. I saw that many rental businesses were stuck dealing with old-school methods like managing inventory manually or spending hours on the phone, which only cuts into their profits. I believe it’s time for a digital makeover. Today’s clients want easy self-service options, real-time availability, and clear pricing, and Heyquip is here to deliver just that. Heyquip is all about giving independent rental centers the tools they need to compete with the big players. Our platform handles everything from reservations and payments to inventory management, making operations a breeze.
