About Patrick Miga

At Advanced Space, I function in a dynamic role at the intersection of engineering, business development, and program management. I currently lead programs and technical development in several areas of space domain awareness (SDA). My interests are mainly in the area of SDA, with emphasis on cislunar. I also take interest in general astrodynamics or mission design, cislunar exploration or infrastructure, and space traffic management. I hold a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech, an MS in Aerospace Engineering and ME in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado. My background is in the area of astrodynamics, but I have also had experiences in hypersonics, aerospace structures, and thermal. Outside of work, I enjoy being social and engaging in athletic pursuits such as fitness, golf, snowboarding, running, and hiking. To varying degrees, I am able to play the drums, trumpet, and bass guitar. I enjoy engaging in public speaking and frequently participate in my local Toastmasters club while serving as the VP of Education. I am strongly interested in leadership and welcome opportunities to cultivate this interest.
