ABOUT PAUL MARIC

G’day and welcome to my corner of the internet. Self written ‘about me’ summaries are often very self indulgent and egotistic. In a bid to not come off as either, I’ll keep this short, simple and glamour free.I\'m a tertiary qualified engineer (Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering) that worked full-time in the automotive industry for one of the segment leaders, CarAdvice.com (a company now wholly owned by Nine Entertainment Co). I\'ve since co-founded a new automotive publisher called CarExpert.com.au. When I was young, working with cars and big machinery was my dream. Fast forward to today and I get to work with an industry leader writing about and driving the latest cars, along with presenting that information to readers, viewers and listeners across a number of mediums.I excel in both the mechanical and journalism industries thanks to my key strengths— Excellent communication and stakeholder management— Engaging team player with the ability to effectively lead a team and promote out-of-the-box thinking— Diligent and outgoing work ethic with a drive to succeed and deliver to the best of my abilities, and— I love sharing a laugh and not taking life too seriously — without this, you\'re just another robot.That\'s yours truly in a nutshell.
