As a member of the Stanford University JSK Fellowships leadership team, I’m focused on empowering current and emerging journalism leaders from around the world who are working to improve the access to information that people need to create and sustain democratic communities. We work on the most urgent problems facing journalism through our core 10-month fellowship and partnerships and collaborations. My journalism roots are in local news and as a daughter of \"fly-over country,\" I\'m especially interested in efforts to address the significant decline of local news and information sources.
