I have recently began my new role at AbbVie in the New Chemical Entities Analytical department. We partner with our process chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences colleagues to drive small molecules from the Discovery/ Development interface through market applications, supporting clinical supplies and interacting with heath authorities across the globe along the way ensuring cGMP and uncompromising ethics and integrity. We utilize state-of-the-art analytical tools to drive R&D decision making and answer complex chemistry and pharmaceutical problems. In this role, I lead a team of analytical chemists, utilizing my skills in people development to achieve their career goals and ensure our department thrives. I also utilize my skills in leadership to work with my colleagues across the new chemical entities organization, ensuring alignment in priorities and how we do our work.
