ABOUT PAUL VAILLANCOURT

I was initially drawn to the world of finance because of an inherent curiosity to truly understand how the world works. From a young age, it seemed fairly obvious to me that money makes the world go round. I felt that if I could learn how the global economy and financial markets worked, it would help me understand almost everything: politics, business, healthcare, education, sports, leisure, poverty, inequality, philanthropy and human behavior. As I take a moment to reflect on my personal and professional life I am proud of the balance I have managed to achieve. I have had wonderful experiences and opportunities throughout my career in the investment management industry working for reputable firms. Everything from analyzing individual securities and setting portfolio strategy to working hands-on with clients and ultimately managing entire wealth management firms. Throughout the years, one of my greatest joys has been developing relationships with interesting people based on respect, trust and confidence. It has been as much about learning as it has been about teaching/coaching/counseling/guiding. I care deeply about protecting the capital that our clients entrust to us.
