I’m Pradeep and I am passionately thinking about the greater implications for the things we cannot see.Ever since a child, I was passionate about technology and problem-solving and therefore it wasn’t a difficult decision for me to study Computer Science and Engineering in my bachelors. Here I got an opportunity to learn and embrace the power of programming to improve and transform systems and processes and ultimately the lives of the people.I started my professional career right after graduation as a Software Engineer primarily focused on developing web-applications for global Banks. The application was developed using the Java Struts framework based on MVC-2 architecture. Also, it enabled the banks to perform credit collections from their corporate clients seamlessly. Finally, I’ve also got an opportunity to work at the client’s place to support the production go-live which was very challenging but I learnt to prioritize and work under pressure. I later moved to Oracle as an IT Consultant where I’ve become a certified scaled Agile practitioner. I have implemented many integrations between applications in an ERP using middleware technologies such as SOA and OSB. I have been a successful collaborator between various development teams and ensured synchronization in terms of technologies and solutions.Many people often ask me why I’m pursuing an MBA despite a progressive career in IT. To answer it, as an Engineer and an IT Consultant, I always felt that I was working in a box and at times failed to see the bigger picture which had an impact on efficiency. And efficiency is very important to me which makes me more inclined towards finding productive ways to reach objectives in business. Moreover, I strongly believe that learning is a continuous process in life. The most important lesson I learnt? The more we know, the less we fear.With my MBA and technical expertise, I can now look at the problems from different perspectives to come up with efficient solutions.
